Dr. Iqbal Wahid has accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education and Research at one of the most prestigious Postgraduate Medical Institutes, Peshawar. He has a solid academic and teaching experience in medical education, research, epidemiology, and biostatistics, spanning both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He formerly worked at Gajju Khan Medical College MTI Swabi as Chairman and Head of Department Medical Education.

He was a Consultant Epidemiologist at College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He also worked at the Northwest School of Medicine in Peshawar as an Assistant Professor of Medical Education and Research and Development.

He did complete his MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Khyber Medical University and his Research (Fogarty fellow) from Aga Khan University Karachi. He also holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Health Education Profession from Khyber Medical University.

He has extensive experience with data science software/tools, as well as teaching and training in medical education, research and development.

Dr Iqbal Wahid recently joined one of the Prestigious Postgraduate Medical Institute Peshawar as Assistant Professor Department Medical education and Research. He has more than 10 Years strong academic and teaching background of both undergraduate and postgraduate Medical Education, Research, Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He has worked previously as Chairman and Head of department Medical Education at Gajju Khan Medical College MTI Swabi.
